I'm actually very happy how this one turned out~

Anyway, The Silver Door is out this week so I've been on a bit of a DQ high... And I figured I'd colour one of my sketches I've got lying around and actually submit some DQ art for a change... (Sorry guys, I've been slack...)

I usually work on about 5 layers, but this beauty was a big old 10~ I wanted to get the shading and scales just right~

And yeah, I love Marc McBride's vraals but I wanted to put my own spin on one... (No, not at all like the anime did...) So I looked up the original description from Dread Mountain and I really just went from there... I hope it looks alright...

Hmm... I might colour that Ak-Baba next... That should be fun~
